In the 32nd chapter of Exodus there is an interesting story not to mention an interesting parallel. Just as Mosses went to the mountain of G-D for the Ten Commandments so too is Christ Jesus taking a while to return. The golden calf it seems was a foreshadowing as the church has taken off their jewelry and cast an idol in the shape of a cross, they dance, sing, and commit revelry around it. As Mosses stood at the mouth of the camp so too does Christ Jesus stand and call those faithful to G-D to himself. Mosses commanded the Levites to strap a sword to their side likewise Christ Jesus says “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors’; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment.” The Levites where ordered to strike and kill their Brothers, Friends, and Neighbors. So too I wonder if those who have set themselves apart and answered Christ Jesus’ call are ready to take up the sword, to kill their Brothers, Friends, and Neighbors? Have you set yourself apart reader? Where is your sword? Are you ready to Kill those against the will of G-D?
Indeed the Apostate Church is a Dangerous enemy, it takes the shape of the ones we love. Matt 10:32-39 says “Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn ” ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother in law— a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ “Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.”
